Ten Tips for being more truthful

- Make a commitment to tell the truth.
- Tell someone about your commitment.
- Think before you give a dishonest answer, explanation, sarcasm, or reason.
- Be careful of when and how you use exaggeration, sarcasm, or irony.
- Be careful not to twist the truth or leave out part of it.
- Don't indulge in little white lies.
- Watch out for silent lies.
- When you catch yourself lying, throw your mouth into reverse.
- Talk to yourself.
- Treat yourself when you tell the truth.

- How they can benefit you is by following all the tips and being truthful. Being truthful means to be honest and don't lie. The first two tips for being more truthful are to make a commitment to tell the truth and tell someone about your commitment. This is important because it shows that your are serious about becoming more truthful with yourself. Being truthful means you always tell the truth without lying and if you lie you are going to look like the bad person. If you make a commitment you have to tell the truth then you most likely won't break it and if you tell someone about your commitment then you are more even commitment telling the truth. How this will incorporate the ten tips into my like planning goals is by telling the truth about goals.
